The photos above were taken during a farm tour by Brianna Caraccio Photography. Brianna came out to spend some time with us on the farm for a tour and to learn about our farm’s history. Brianna additionally works at Main Street Marketplace who carries our beef in their store and in their meal kits.

The Hopeful Acres Family -

Our farm family consists of Christine (mom to Chris & Stephanie and maw maw to Peyton and Keegan). Brother and Sister, Chris and Stephanie. Peyton & Keegan (Stephanie’s sons).

Perry Morgan and Christine Taylor married in 1972 to start our family. Perry and Christine built a house on the farm that Christine lives in. Chris built a house on the farm and Stephanie lives in her grandparent’s farm house (Ruth & Coy Morgan’s home who was Perry’s parents and also Chris & Stephanie’s maw maw and paw paw.).

In 2014 after almost 42 years of marriage to Christine, a life time of farming, and after being the best father two children could have ever hoped for, Perry passed away. Perry’s passion for the land and his family’s heritage lives on in his children and grandchildren. Stephanie & Chris are the fifth generation , with Peyton & Keegan being the sixth generation to farm on their family farm. Stephanie & Chris share the hope that their father had, the hope that their family farm will do good!

In 2023 we welcomed a new member to the family, Jimmy Stone. Stephanie & Jimmy were married, and he hit the ground (farm) running.
